Yamaguchi Sansa dance

It is said that it was introduced from the Shimohei region around the middle of the Meiji era and began to be danced as a Bon Odori dance.It is a dance that requires skill with its simple but sharp movements, and has been passed down as a dance with an improvisational nature and bright folk song style.

After seeing Tase Ohashi Bridge, which is one of the best views of Lake Tase, a multipurpose artificial lake in the middle of the Kitakami Mountains, there is Otase No. 3 Bridge about 200 meters upstream. Byobu Rock towers directly above this, halfway up Mt. Tomori. It is semi-circular with a circumference of approximately 100m and a height of 30m. It is a strange rock that looks like a folding screen opened.

Masuzawa Kagura (city-designated intangible ethnic cultural property)

This is Hayachine-style kagura, which is descended from the Oide kagura of Tsukubaushi-cho, Tono City, and in the Tono region, it is called the Shinto-ryu Shinnin school. The time when it spread to Masuzawa is unknown, but oral tradition says it was around 180 years ago.
