Located on National Route 281 after heading north from Morioka City on National Route 4, this roadside station is a place where you can relax and relax, with direct farm produce, a restaurant, and a park. The farm-direct house ``Hosunaaru'' has a unique name that has three meanings in the local language: ``I have what I want,'' ``I have dried vegetables,'' and ``I'm a star.'' We mainly carry vegetables and mountain products, but also dairy products, craft products, and famous sweets from Kuzumaki Kogen Farm.

Mikoda morning market

During the feudal period, there were markets all over Morioka Castle. Much of it has been lost to the times, but Morioka still has a simple and humane market. The Mikoda morning market, which has been popular as the citizens' kitchen for many years, is the largest cooperative type market in Japan. If you turn down an alley in a complicated residential area at 5 a.m., you'll find vegetables, wild plants, fresh flowers, fruits, pickles, and more lined up on mats spread out by farmers. Roadside station “Mitagai Branch”

A roadside station built on the site of the former Mon Elementary School Mitagai Branch along National Route 455 from the Morioka direction. Based on the concept of an old elementary school, it has a ``purchasing department'' (store) and a ``lunch room'' (cafeteria), creating a nostalgic space. Nearby, there are limestone caves such as Ryusendo Cave, one of Japan's three major limestone caves, a nationally designated natural monument, and Yasuya Cave, the longest in Japan with a total length of over 10,000 meters.

Appi Onsen Shirakaba no Yu (day trip bathing facility) [Appi Onsen]

AIPP Onsen Patio opened as "Shirakaba no Yu" on July 22, 2017. The open-air bath, where you can feel the warmth of wood, has an arbor-style roof, and you can see the great nature of the Appi Highlands during the day, and the starry sky at night. It is a relaxing space with a large public bath that can accommodate 200 men and women at a time, and one of the largest saunas in Japan. It is also directly connected to the ANA Holiday Inn Resort Appi Kogen "Onsen Building" (formerly Appi Kogen Onsen Hotel) via a corridor.
