Brewery Restaurant Sekiichi

A quaint restaurant that uses a sake brewery from the Taisho era. We recommend the ``Kaho Mochi Zen'' where you can enjoy 8 types of mochi and ozoni, and the ``Hatt Mochi Zen'' where you can enjoy both hatto and mochi.

Soba making experience

We are holding a soba making experience at the Furusato Sozokan. Even those without experience can easily make it. Why not try it once? Please note that reservations are required.

Sanzuro family

A taste of early summer. It is served with fine kelp and young seaweed grown in the rich sea of Sanriku. The orange-colored flesh of the sea urchin shines at its best. The sea urchin and rice are a perfect match, and the deep flavor that spreads in the mouth is exceptional.

Creative Farmer Cosmos

We have been closed indefinitely since 2024. We sell fresh vegetables from the field behind the farm, old-fashioned handmade sweets, and cereal red rice, among other products. In the adjoining farmhouse restaurant, you can enjoy seasonal dishes, hittsumisu, and handmade sweets.

Sansaikan Fujisei

Iwate's southern region boasts a wide variety of mochi dishes. Since its opening in 1991, the restaurant has been offering the specialty "Hitokuchimochi Zen," a bite-sized version of traditional mochi dishes. The freshly pounded taste is very impressive. Located near Ichinoseki Station, this restaurant offers both mochi and Japanese cuisine for both the eyes and the palate.

Saiunso [Fujishichi Onsen]

A secluded hot spring with a rustic atmosphere and the highest elevation in the Tohoku region. Hachimantai is a volcanic area and is dotted with unique hot springs with spectacular views. Fujishichi Onsen is characterized by a cloudy open-air bath that gushes out from the bathtub, and a mud bath that contains plenty of hot spring ingredients. On days when the weather is favorable, you can enjoy the sunrise and the spectacular view of the sea of ​​clouds.

A long-established inn founded in 1939. It is characterized by a Jomon bath in a garden modeled after the Shidanai ruins located to the west of Tsunagi Onsen. There is also a private bath with a sauna.
