Genbu Onsen

A hot spring located 10km north of Shizukuishi Town, along the road to Amihari Onsen. The Kakoneda River flows nearby, making it a quiet environment perfect for relaxation. It is also a convenient base for mountain stream fishing and autumn foliage viewing. Chloride hot spring containing sodium bicarbonate. Effective for rheumatism and neuralgia. There are three accommodation facilities.

Nagisatei Tarouan

Newly opened on a hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean. There is a main building, an observation building, and an outbuilding, all of which have open-air baths.

Kyōunso (Matsukawa Onsen)

Located in the Hachimantai National Park, the inn is surrounded by virgin forests of beech and oak. The milky white water is abundant and always overflows from the bathtub. Reservations are required for meals.
