Roadside station “Taro”

Roadside Station Taro is located along National Route 45, about 5 minutes from Taro Masaki Kaigan IC on the Sanriku Coastal Road. A restored model of Taro's townscape is on display at Shiosato Station.

Gassan

It is a mountain located on the Shigemo Peninsula with an altitude of 456 meters, and from the observation deck you can see Miyako Bay below, the cliffs of the raised coast on the left and right, and the ria coastline including Jodogahama Beach and Hinodejima.
