Mabechiso

Canola flower field in Shizukuishi town

Shizukuishi Town has been planting rape blossoms as part of the "Nano-Technology Project" and usually by the middle of May, rape blossom fields spread in several locations in the town (the locations change every year). (Locations change every year.) The rapeseed oil from the rape blossoms grown here is sold as "Nanoshizuku".

Nishiwaga Town is blessed with abundant hot spring resources and beautiful scenery. This rich hot spring resource is utilized not only for tourism but also for farming soft-shelled turtles. It is said that it takes 4 to 5 years for soft-shelled turtles to be shipped using normal farming, but with hot spring water, they can be shipped after 2 years. Please enjoy the soft-shelled turtles grown using natural energy "hot spring water."

Ajiyado Michiai

The owner of the inn is a mastermind behind a fixed net. The dining table is filled with sumptuous seaside cuisine prepared by a seaman who knows all about the ingredients. We also recommend enjoying slow-grilled seafood and a glass of Japanese sake while enjoying a robatayaki in the atmospheric hearth room lined with fishing equipment. For robatayaki, please let us know your budget and number of people when making a reservation.

This winery was established in 2016 to produce high-quality wine from wild grapes grown in Noda Village.

Kanegasaki Town Fortress History Museum

This is a facility where you can learn more about the characteristics of samurai mansions and the townscape through exhibits and videos. A model is also on display, so you can compare it with the samurai mansion that still stands today.
