Old roadside station “Takada Matsubara” Tapic 45

Tapic 45, a white building with a beautiful pine forest in the background, was an information center for Rikuzentakata City, but it was damaged by the tsunami of the Great East Japan Earthquake. The building has been preserved as an earthquake relic to pass on the horror of the tsunami to future generations.

Shidate Park

Located on a small hill surrounded by peaceful countryside, the view is refreshing. It is crowded with people during the cherry blossom season. In the middle, ``Shishimizu'', a famous water symbolizing Hanaizumi Town, which is a village of springs, gushes out.

Kuzumaki Forest Park

Karyusawa Falls Mountain Stream Park

The area around the mountain stream, which stretches for approximately 2km, is decorated with seasonal flowers such as cherry blossoms, azaleas, and wisteria, and you can enjoy a spiritually enriching moment while enjoying the natural scenery such as the majestic Fudo Rock. There are also outdoor facilities such as campgrounds and bungalows.

According to folklore

Objects related to folk tales and fairy tales are installed all along the street from JR Tono Station Square to Municipal Nabekura Park, pleasing the eyes of people walking by. Typical objects include bronze statues of the main characters of Tono Monogatari, such as the kappa, the Yuki-onna, and the Celestial Child, as well as the main characters of fairy tales, such as Momotaro, Thumbelina, and Jack and the Beanstalk.

Glasses Bridge

The JR Kamaishi Line's nickname ``Meganebashi'' is an arch bridge with five semicircles connected, and its official name is ``Miyamorigawa Bridge Ryo''. The Iwate Light Railway, the predecessor of the JR Kamaishi Line, is said to have become the motif of Kenji Miyazawa's fairy tale "Night on the Galaxy Railway." Megane Bridge is illuminated in green and orange during the spring, summer, and winter tourist seasons. It invites passersby to a world of fantasy. In April 2009, it was certified as a sacred place for lovers.

Ikoi Village Iwate

Located 10 minutes by car from the Nishine IC on the Tohoku Expressway, there is an accommodation facility with an observation deck, a large bathroom with a sauna, and an indoor hot spring pool, as well as an indoor artificial turf facility where you can enjoy field athletics, baseball, volleyball, tennis, and gateball. Hei River

It is one of the most scenic clear streams in the Kitakami Mountains, with a total length of 75.5 km, originating from Kukai Kogen in the Kawai district of Miyako City and flowing to Miyako City, crossing the JR Yamada Line and National Route 106. It has a tributary, the Kariyagawa River, and attracts anglers with ayu fishing from the opening of mountain stream fishing in March to July. Tottori Haruyo Birthplace

The birthplace of Haruyo Tottori (real name Kanichi), an enka performer and composer from the Taisho and early Showa eras, who was born in Kariya, the former Shinsato village in 1899, and died at the young age of 31, still exists. Haruyo Tottori moved to Tokyo at the age of 14 and began composing music at the age of 17, and his ``Caged Bird'', which he composed in 1923, became an unprecedented hit. She became Japan's first singer exclusively for a record company.
