Self-help workshop Shiki no Sato

When you open the shoji door at the front, you will find a renovated table and chairs. We use local brown soba noodles and do all the milling at Shiki-no-Sato. Enjoy freshly ground, freshly made handmade soba noodles and freshly fried tempura.

Tono Genghis Khan Hitsujimaru Michi (formerly Maruman Jingisan Hitsujimaru)

A store specializing in Tono's famous "Genghis Khan". Characterized by soft meat. It goes well with our special sauce made with carefully selected ingredients. Cold noodles are also available.

We offer home-grown traps grilled with salt. The miso ramen with plenty of vegetables and rockfish set meals are popular, with a focus on locally sourced ingredients.

Tartary soba

Tartary soba is said to contain 100 times more rutin, which strengthens capillaries, than Japanese soba. When boiled, it is slightly yellow in color and has a bittersweet flavor.

A seasonal panel display of wild plants from the Hayasaka Highlands. The restaurant sells soba mochi, skewered mochi, and dengaku tofu.

Hope Water System Iwanakan

The ``Iwana'' grown using the abundant spring water from Mt. Iwate is one of the best in the world. In addition to the standard salt-grilled dish, you can also enjoy it as sashimi or sushi.

Ofunato Onsen

Opened in July 2014 on a hill overlooking Ofunato Bay. The view of Ofunato Bay from the large natural hot spring bath is spectacular. The meals at the hotel are fresh and luxurious seashore cuisine unique to the Sanriku region.
