Natsuyu Plateau

Located to the north of the Yakedishi Mountain Range in Kurikoma Quasi-National Park, this plateau is dotted with golf courses, park golf courses, ski resorts, and hot springs of varying quality.

Okunakayama Plateau

Located 700m on the side of Mt. Nishi, there is an accommodation facility with a hot spring bath, a fishing pond, a play area with play equipment such as wooden athletics and a roller slide, and a ski resort. Okunakayama Kogen Onsen is slightly alkaline and leaves your skin smooth, so it is especially popular among women. Hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter, you can enjoy nature to the fullest, with its different expressions depending on the season.

Hiraniwa Kogen

The vast Hiraniwa Plateau, located 800 meters above sea level, is a scenic place designated as a prefectural natural park. Starting with spring's emissaries, katakuris (dogtooth violet) and other marshland plants, followed by the dazzling green of the birch forests in early summer, the azaleas blooming all over the plateau, the autumn leaves in fall, and skiing in winter, this is a field where one can enjoy nature to the fullest throughout the year.
