Hirono Town Taneichi History and Folklore Museum

We are exhibiting materials about ``Nanbu Moguri,'' which was passed down to Taneichi and is famous nationwide. Okaya Inari Shrine

A shrine with a long history, located in a forest of old trees. Enshrined as the deity of Uka Nōtama no Mikoto, it is one of the most prominent shrines in the Sanriku region and is visited by many visitors from far away. In particular, the annual festival in May is crowded with many worshipers. Take the JR Tohoku Shinkansen to Shukudo Station on the JR Hachinohe Line and get off at Morioka Station, then transfer at JR Tohoku Main Line Hachinohe Station.

Twill cherry blossom trees

This is a row of cherry blossom trees along the bicycle path between National Route 283 and Sarugaishi River in the Ayaori district. The view of the Sarugaishi River, cherry blossom trees, and Mt. Man Tetsugoro Memorial Museum of Art

This is a memorial museum of Tetsugoro Man, who left important works in the history of Japanese art such as Fauvism and Cubism, and aimed to create a new and unique art. Adjacent to it is the restored storehouse of the Manke House, with a high-definition museum, a museum shop, and a cafe corner. Built on the ruins of Tsuchizawa Castle.

Narushima Washi Crafts Museum

The Narushima Washi Crafts Museum is a production base for Narushima Washi, the northernmost Japanese paper in Japan, and a facility for experiencing paper making. Everything about Narushima Washi is concentrated in the museum, and you can experience the culture of Washi that has been handed down since ancient times in Japan. Hayachine Daikonryu Tsuchizawa Yamabushi Kagura

The mountain worship that regards Hayachine Shrine as a sacred mountain has given rise to many schools of Yamabushi Kagura since the Kamakura period, and is now collectively known as Hayachine Kagura. Along with Take-ryu's Ishihatooka Kagura, it has been designated as an Intangible Folk Cultural Property by Iwate Prefecture, and its ancient beliefs have been passed down to the present day in their original form, and the mystical music and dance transcend time and touch the hearts of viewers.

Towa B&G Marine Center

Lake Tase has calm waves and is the perfect environment for water sports. Narushima Mikumano Shrine

Narushima Mikumano Shrine is said to have been built by Sakanoue Tamuramaro when he subdued the Ezo, and its quiet appearance surrounded by trees over 1,000 years old is the origin of the shrine's name, Kii Kumano Shrine. It exudes a majesty similar to Sanzan. Designated as an important cultural property of Iwate Prefecture in 1978. In the precincts, there is a 4.73m tall wooden statue of Bishamonten made from a single zelkova tree. Every May, the ``Bishamon Festival/National Crying Sumo Tournament'' is held to pray for the healthy growth of children.
