*The previously operating roadside station "Yamada" was relocated and opened near the Yamada IC, and is now operating under a new name, "Fureai Park Yamada". It is located along Route 45, which runs through Yamada Town from north to south. It sells specialty products such as Yamada senbei (rice crackers), and in season offers a wide variety of mountain and sea foods such as matsutake mushrooms, salmon, and scallops. It also provides information on events and sightseeing, and is close to leisure facilities such as Funakoshi Family Travel Village. Sanriku Iso Ramen" and "Yamada Oyster Ramen" are popular in the cafeteria.

All rooms are special seats for the ``Four Seasons of Lake Gosho.'' From your room, you can enjoy the view of the lake and mountains that change with the changing seasons. The owner of the inn is a mastermind behind a fixed net. The dining table is filled with sumptuous seaside cuisine prepared by a seaman who knows all about the ingredients. We also recommend enjoying slow-grilled seafood and a glass of Japanese sake while enjoying a robatayaki in the atmospheric hearth room lined with fishing equipment. For robatayaki, please let us know your budget and number of people when making a reservation.

Sanriku Ofunato Goishikaigan Rest House

　The Goseki Kaigan Rest House offers a variety of local souvenirs, including folk art Gongensama. The cafeteria, which seats about one hundred, also offers "healthy food, Tsubaki-ju cuisine" using sea and mountain foods from Ofunato Mountain, as well as abundant abalone and scallops. At the confectionery workshop, visitors can try their hand at painting ikasenbei (squid rice crackers) with a chocolate pen and eat them freshly baked. Nearby are the Municipal Museum, the World Camellia Museum and Goishi, and other facilities that can be enjoyed throughout the four seasons. Ofunato's local delicacy "Sanma Ramen" is available at the restaurant on the second floor of the Goishi Coast Rest House.
