Sanriku Ofunato Goishikaigan Rest House
The Goseki Kaigan Rest House offers a variety of local souvenirs, including folk art Gongensama. The cafeteria, which seats about one hundred, also offers "healthy food, Tsubaki-ju cuisine" using sea and mountain foods from Ofunato Mountain, as well as abundant abalone and scallops. At the confectionery workshop, visitors can try their hand at painting ikasenbei (squid rice crackers) with a chocolate pen and eat them freshly baked. Nearby are the Municipal Museum, the World Camellia Museum and Goishi, and other facilities that can be enjoyed throughout the four seasons.
Ofunato's local delicacy "Sanma Ramen" is available at the restaurant on the second floor of the Goishi Coast Rest House.
