Kunimi Onsen

A famous hot spring in Michinoku located at Kunimi Pass at the southern foot of Mt. Komagatake on the border with Akita Prefecture. Located in the midst of the natural beauty of Hachimantai National Park, many people visit the hot springs every year for their therapeutic benefits and relaxation. In addition, it continues to be loved by people as a base for mountain climbing to Mt. Komagatake and Sennumagahara, with its rustic atmosphere that evokes nostalgia. There are Ishizuka Ryokan, Moriyamaso, and Kunimisanso (day trip), and the hot spring quality is hydrogen carbonate spring (hydrogen sulfide type), neutral and high temperature, and is effective for chronic gastrointestinal diseases, neuralgia, rheumatism, skin diseases, etc.

Sunshine Style Village Sunshine Style Village

　Located in the heart of Natsuyu Kogen Onsenkyo, this outdoor facility opened in April 2021 and features glamping, Genghis Khan BBQ, and a cafe. 　Equipment is available for rent, so even beginners to camping can enjoy the outdoors freely and easily. 　Wakuwaku Room, a container-type room equipped with Wi-Fi, can be used for workcations, meetings, etc.

Hotel Shion [Morioka Tsunagi Onsen]

All rooms are special seats for the ``Four Seasons of Lake Gosho.'' From your room, you can enjoy the view of the lake and mountains that change with the changing seasons. In addition to the hot springs flowing directly from the source and locally sourced food, there is also a chapel within the facility, which can be used for special weddings for just one couple per day.

Senganishi Onsen

This hot spring is equipped with a large bath filled with 680 liters of hot water per minute, and you can enjoy a day trip bath. There is also an open-air bath with a view of the idyllic countryside, allowing you to thoroughly soothe the fatigue of your travels.

Semi Onsen

It has four hot springs, including ``Yume-no-Yu'' and ``Semi-no-Yu'', and ``Bijin no Yu'' is especially popular among women because it leaves their skin smooth after bathing. Irihata Dam is lit up from July to August, and the view from the open-air bath will transport you to a fantastical world. Focusing on fresh eel and river fish dishes, you can enjoy wild vegetable dishes in spring and mushroom dishes in autumn.

Goyo Onsen

It is the first natural hot spring on the Sanriku coast, located at the foot of Mt. Goyo, and is gaining popularity for its abundant hot water and ``hot springs for beautiful skin.'' The spring quality is a simple alkaline hot spring, which is effective for neuralgia, muscle pain, sensitivity to cold, recovery from fatigue, etc. In addition, the exchange building is equipped with an agricultural, forestry and fishery product direct sales corner, a cafeteria, an exchange hall, and a rest room. The original kibi soft-serve ice cream that can only be eaten here is also becoming increasingly popular.

Natsuyu Plateau

Located to the north of the Yakedishi Mountain Range in Kurikoma Quasi-National Park, this plateau is dotted with golf courses, park golf courses, ski resorts, and hot springs of varying quality.

Roadside station “Shizukuishi Anekko” [Hashiba Onsen]

This roadside station opened in July 2001. Komakusa Restaurant offers a menu that uses seasonal ingredients produced in Shizukuishi from season to season. The "Shizukuishi Beef Sirloin Steak Donburi" and "Hitomebore Soft" made from rice grown in Shizukuishi are especially popular. There is also "Sanchoku Shizukuishi," which features vegetables, wild vegetables, mushrooms, and other freshly harvested mountain products grown by local farmers, and "Bussan Shizukuishi," featuring specialty products gathered from towns along National Routes 46 and 106. And Hashiba Onsen (alkaline simple spring) with sauna and open-air baths can be enjoyed for one-day bathing, as well as footbath, herb garden, auto campground, and other facilities.
